The company opened their first design studio in Prior Lake,MN in the year 2000 that offered custom made designer inspired traditional Indian attires and home furnishings. Soon the company's business florished under the label of Shama Designs. A boutique was established in 2005 in Shakopee,MN where Shama Designs Boutique diversified into wide range of sarees, salwar kameez, lehenga cholis, accessories.In 2013, Shama Boutique entered the World Wide Web and ventured into online shopping via Facebook using social marketing media and have eventually kicked off their ecommerce to reach niche clients throughout the whole world via www.ShamaBoutique.com.
